Goal : Moonbug needed to execute a global rebrand. Goal was to develop a colourful brand identity that’s bursting with energy, a fresh and fun brand that captures the spirit of childhood and unveils vibrant new brand and strategy simultaneously to match its mega-hit shows like CoComelon and Blippi! to match Moonbug 29 of the most popular online kids’ shows in the world, found on more than 150 platforms in 32 languages,

ReBrand Strategy Approach : At the heart, was to achieve bold attitude for a new bespoke creative platform with the same energy and fun as its colourful shows and characters that fizzes and pops with a playful personality making Moonbug content unmissable.

Idents Re-Development with New Look : As tMoonbug is a global entertainment company that creates and distributes inspiring and engaging stories to expand kids’ worlds and minds, the next challenge became to apply this new brand look into our idents and execute on the strategic approach.
The best avenue was showcase the unique personality of key characters from our shown interacting with the Moonbug Logotype as if its not just their home but an identity in itself — the beginning of embracing Moonbug as a personality and/or behavioural “way” to see the world.

Managing Brand IP’s : Part of the challenge was to lead our design team to present new Moonbug image into global market trade shows, while managing the Brand Equity of all of our core IP’s and take our motto “LEARN | LAUGH | GROW on the road across markets for distribution channels.
Moonbug | Disney Partnership
Disney Branded Television : Morhple Logo Redesign for Disney
Strategy: A deal with Moonbug Entertainment for 52 episodes of 7-minute CG series, “Morphle,” based on the YouTube short-form hit My Magic Pet Morphle was the first partnership between Disney and Moonbug.
Art Focused Creative Challenge: The comedy adventure series is slated to debut in 2024 exclusively on Disney+ and Disney Junior globally, needed a visual revamp and animation polish to adjust into this new positioning. Now the rebrand of its "Opening titles” was the next challenge. The goals was not to loose the identity of Morphle and the Magic Pets, yet provide a new 3D animated presence to distinguish the Disney Show.

Moonbug | Netflix Partnership
Netflix : Cocomelon Lane
Strategy: CoComelon Lane follows JJ & friends speaking directly to audiences for the first time moving away form a pure song narrative to an experience were global audiences celebrate life’s special milestones.
Brand Focused Creative Challenge: Taking a show into anew direction is no easy challenge. Our teams worked to create a hook which would showcase the imagination of children by taking the Cocomelon Lane icon (the magical ladybug) as an activation to as to make the imagination come to life. The idea was to articulate this clearly in copy which made this be easily digestible by parents and keys alike to “Celebrate Every Second of Every First.”

Spotify : Multi-IP Branded Playlists
Strategy: Among the many branded avenues for Moonbug, our Spotify music track which included Little Baby Bum, Cocomelon, and others.
Creative Challenge: We had to ensure each of the properties was represented strongly within these channels with a unique visual identity for over 7 top-Hit Properties yet be able to change its visual language to ensure each track was easily recognisable yet kept close to Brand guidelines.
