IKEA

I got the opportunity to contribute to this iconic brand supporting creatives assigned to visually reimagine the way accessibility from Box-To-Shelf would look through a series of visual campaigns. We moved to design a process where the objects found in IKEA stores would be more than tools, but campaign platforms.

Within that brief, we had to develop a story that showed how a piece of Ikea furniture became part of our lives and enhanced our experiences in the form of adventure. The goal was to emotionally connect with our audiences and ensure the Ikea brand was seen as a place for the potential of human experience, not design.

“FURNITURE IS MORE THAN AN OBJECT IS WHERE THE STORIES OF OUR LIVES UNFOLD, WHERE WE THE STORIES OF US ARE CRADLED.”

The IKEA Start Something New Ad focused on a story of the freeing of an exploratory spirit that engages audiences with a strong emotional narrative around the unlimited potential of a chair supporting the modern generation’s dynamic lifestyle to match Ikea’s mission : Even the smallest change can make a huge difference in any life.
